"Hold On"
~Michiyo Nakamura

I close my eyes
and let myself drown
in this whirlpool of regret
reaching out for every bit of hope i can grasp ---
hoping that someone would take my hand
and save me from this hell i myself created

but now i realize
'tis a place where the sun doesn't shine
and now i'm drowning here
in this sea of lie and pretence
waiting for someone to take my hand ---

and as i slip away
from every bit of sanity
that is left in me
the bittersweet pain of reality hit me hard:
that no matter how hard i try to escape,
there simply is no way out

and finally darkness held me in a cold embrace
all those years of waiting has come to an end
but only one thing is for certain:
i did not let go ---
they just forgot to hold on.

When a Warrior Hunts for an Eagle

"Don't cry. Tears waste salt. You need salt to survive."

Seconds ticked as the game drew to an end. The crowd can't sit still as the ball went soaring in the air - only to miss the hoop by a mere few millimeters. The crowd went wild. Half of them were cheering, half of them not. The mighty Blue Eagles lost to the Raging Red Warriors.

But then again, as I was watched the Eagles play in the game, I can't help but admire their determination to win down to the last second. Unfortunately though, it didn't go well for them (blame it all to the warriors... haha... just kidding!).

After a few minutes of battling with my mind, I realized one thing: it's not all about winning. We lost. So what? They won. Again, so what? Who cares? I don't.

Okay, so I do care. The name of our school is on the line, but then again, it doesn't really matter. As long as they gave their best, it's the greatest thing they could've done for the school. Besides, they were the ones playing. We were mere spectators. We don't even have the right to complain. So why sulk? Only losers sulk, and we're certainly not losers. We lost the fight but we certainly won the battle. It's good enough to keep us going. :)

Win or lose, it's the school we choose.

when a warrior hunts for an eagle,
he always leaves it wounded.
left across a pile of dirt
lying in the middle of the thick forest
struggling for every bit of life it can grasp
but as time heals the wound bestowed upon it,
it grows stronger than before.
and it'll rise once again
to claim its rightful place
way above the mountains
and as it soars mightily up in the sky,
it greets the world with a battle cry -
the warrior will be left hiding in its shadow;
waiting for another chance
to wound this mighty creature -
only to realize it has flewn up
too high for him to reach.

Wittle Fweax Oath

We are Wittle Fweax;
insanity is our cause -
You might think we're quite crazy,
but really it's your loss.
'cause when things get tough and hazy,
We're really a lazy bunch;
But when it comes to H and yaoi stuffs,
We give some helluva punch.

We're proud to be this twisted,
Our weirdness has no end -
And though we merely aim to please,
Our boister may offend.
But mostly we're oblivious;
We're moronic to a creed -
That bound by laws of anime,
Guilty is our plead!
'coz anime is our life;
We burn for it's thrill.
That no matter what, no matter where,
~ANIME ROX ya'll~
That's the only sane thing we feel.
